On the morning of August 12, the centralized commencement event for major projects in Hubei Province in the third quarter were held by video link, and Jingzhou set up a sub-venue at the project site of the Hubei Jinjiang New Materials Green Low Carbon Industrial Park in Jiangling County. After the event, Jingzhou held a centralized commencement ceremony for major projects in the third quarter.

In the third quarter, a total of 267 major projects started construction in Jingzhou, with a total investment of RMB 91.2 billion and an annual planned investment of RMB 19 billion, including 147 above-100-million-yuan projects with a total investment of RMB 86.8 billion and an annual planned investment of RMB 15.9 billion. In terms of the investment field, there are 71 advanced manufacturing projects with a total investment of RMB 50.4 billion; 7 scientific and technological innovation projects with a total investment of RMB 2.8 billion; 3 digital economy projects with a total investment of RMB 1.5 billion; 23 modern service industry projects with a total investment of RMB 12.4 billion; 10 modern agricultural projects with a total investment of RMB 4.9 billion; and 33 infrastructure projects with a total investment of RMB 14.8 billion.

At the commencement ceremony, a person-in-charge from the Jingzhou Municipal Development and Reform Commission introduced the commencement of the city’s major projects in the third quarter, and a person-in-charge from Jiangling County made a speech and introduced the commencement of the county’s major projects. It is reported that all districts, counties and cities held centralized commencement activities simultaneously.
